Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ c barbecue sauce (I prefer Bullseye)
  • 1 cup grated cheese (of your choice...I use a jack/cheddar mixture)
  • 2 pkgs crescent rolls
Instructions
  1. Crumble hamburger and brown with onions.
  2. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. While it's cooking, get a cookie sheet and lay out the rolls as shown in the photo.
  4. When meat is no longer pink, drain grease and return to pan.
  5. Add brown sugar, barbecue sauce and cheese. Blend well and turn out into the center of the pan on the crescent rolls. (see picture)
  6. Then take the ends at the upper edge, cross them, and twist like a braid, adding a new row each time, twisting after each is added. I close the ends because it will kinda fall out if you don't.
  7. Spray top with cooking spray to help it brown pretty.
  8. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
