CORN BREAD MIX

- The dry mix:
- 4½ c flour
- 4½ c. cornmeal
- 1½ c shortening
- 8 Tbs. sugar
- 1 T salt
- ½ c. baking powder
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 c. non fat dry milk powder
- Mix and store in airtight container.
- The instructions to bake:
- Add 2 cups mix
- egg
- /4 c. cold water. Stir to mix.
- Pour into greased cake pan bake at 400 degrees. Until done.
