Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 small garlic buds, chopped
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 2 Tbsp bacon drippings
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder or chili quick
  • ½ c water
  • 2 (7 oz) pkgs thin spaghetti
  • 2 tsp salt
Instructions
  1. Saute onion and garlic in bacon drippings until brown.
  2. Add meat and cook until all water is out of meat.
  3. Add tomato sauce, tomato soup and salt.
  4. Mix chili powder and water to a paste and add to mixture.
  5. Simmer 10 minutes.
  6. Break spaghetti and drop in boiling water.
  7. Cook 10 minutes, rinse in cold water and add to meat mixture.
  8. Simmer 30 minutes or place in buttered casserole and top with 1 c shredded cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
