Baked Lasagna

Ingredients
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 can tomato puree
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 Tbsp basil
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ c red, sweet wine
  • 1 lb lasagne noodles
  • ½ or 1 lb cottage cheese
  • 1 lb Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Brown hamburger with chopped onion and garlic.
  2. Add tomato puree, tomato paste, tomato sauce, oregano, thyme, basil, dried parsley and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Simmer 2 hours. Add wine the last ½ hour.
  4. Boil noodles in salt water until just tender.
  5. Add enough cold water until you can handle the noodles, but do not drain.
  6. Grease 9x13x2 inch dish, put in layer of noodles, cheeses and sauce.
  7. Continue until all used up.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
