Dried Beef Casserole

Ingredients
  • ¼ lb. sliced dried beef
  • ½ c. chopped celery
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (do not dilute)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 4 oz. chow mein noodles
  • 1 can peas
  • ¼ tsp. garlic
Instructions
  1. Tear or cut the sliced beef into pieces.
  2. Cover with boiling water and drain immediately.
  3. Mix the dried beef with the celery, peas, garlic salt and pepper; mix.
  4. Arrange alternately layers of noodles and bef mixture in a 1½ qt. casserole, beginning and topping with noodles.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
  6. May garnish with parsley and pitted ripe olives.
  7. Serves 6 generously.
