SWEET AND SOUR PORK

Ingredients
  • 4 lb roast cut in cubes
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 1 c. water
  • ¼ c. chopped green pepper
  • ¼ c. chopped canned pimiento
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 12 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 2 eight oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 4 Tbsp. water
Instructions
  1. Brown cubed meat in sauce pan.
  2. Set aside pork.
  3. Combine other ingredients.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add pork.
  6. Simmer 45 minutes.
  7. Serve over rice.
