TURNIP PICKLES

- Equal parts vinegar and sugar
- Turnips
- Salt
- Prepare sauce by boiling vinegar and sugar.
- Cool.
- Slice turnips in ⅛ " slices.
- Sprinkle generously with salt.
- Let set until turnips are limp.
- Wash and drain.
- Add to vinegar mixture.
