OKRA PICKLES

Ingredients
  • Brine:
  • ½ c. salt
  • 1 pt Heinz Apple Cider vinegar - red
  • 1 qt. water
  • Pack each jar with:
  • one fresh dill head,
  • 2 small red peppers
  • 1 large or 2 small garlic cloves
Instructions
  1. Bring to a boil.
  2. Soak okra in hot water for a minute or so, just long enough to often lightly so the pods won't break when packing them in the jars.
  3. Pour the boiling brine over the okra in the jars and seal.
  4. Process in hot water bath for 5 minutes to be sure of proper seal.
