CORN BREAD MIX

Ingredients
  • The dry mix:
  • 4½ c flour
  • 4½ c. cornmeal
  • 1½ c shortening
  • 8 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 T salt
  • ½ c. baking powder
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 2 c. non fat dry milk powder
  • Mix and store in airtight container.
Instructions
  1. The instructions to bake:
  2. Add 2 cups mix
  3. egg
  4. /4 c. cold water. Stir to mix.
  5. Pour into greased cake pan bake at 400 degrees. Until done.
