- ½ c. salt
- 1 pt Heinz Apple Cider vinegar - red
- 1 qt. water
- Pack each jar with:
- one fresh dill head,
- 2 small red peppers
- 1 large or 2 small garlic cloves
- Bring to a boil.
- Soak okra in hot water for a minute or so, just long enough to often lightly so the pods won't break when packing them in the jars.
- Pour the boiling brine over the okra in the jars and seal.
- Process in hot water bath for 5 minutes to be sure of proper seal.
